Who Are Our Visitors?

  • Local Neighbors: The vast majority are year-round Flagstaff residents.

  • Vulnerable Situations: 80% are currently experiencing homelessness; the remainder are neighbors whose income cannot cover basic survival needs.

  • The Reality: Many sleep in cars, shelters, or outdoors. In Flagstaff, sleeping outside carries the constant risk of arrest. Our Native American visitors, in particular, frequently report being targeted for law enforcement contact.

From School Bus to Lifeline

Our journey started in 2021 with a decommissioned school bus and a group of dedicated volunteers. That "first bus" proved that mobile outreach worked in Flagstaff. Today, thanks to the continued support of our community, we have transitioned to a fully equipped, professional mobile unit that offers a higher standard of care, better hygiene facilities, and a more comfortable environment for our neighbors.

How You Can Help

The bus requires constant supplies of water, fuel, propane, and hygiene products to stay on the road.

  • Donate: Help us keep the water running & the snacks stocked.

  • Volunteer: Join the team on outreach days.

  • In-Kind Gifts: We are always looking for new socks, underwear, and travel-sized toiletries.
