Many Homes Ki'lani

Small Cabins. Big Impact. A Village Built by Community.

"Many Homes Ki'lani" is our vision for a permanent solution to chronic homelessness in Flagstaff. Rather than temporary fixes, we are creating a village of small, private cabins and shared community spaces designed to provide safety, dignity, and a true sense of home for our unsheltered relatives.

The Vision

Ki'lani isn't just a neighborhood, it's a community. Our plan focuses on:

  • Individual Dignity: Private, insulated sleeping cabins that offer safety and a locked door.

  • Community Support: Shared spaces for cooking, hygiene, and gathering, fostering a sense of belonging.

  • High Efficiency: By keeping construction simple and utilizing volunteer labor, we can house a neighbor for less than $10,000 per unit.

We don't just have a plan; we have a prototype.

Our sample unit was built entirely by volunteer labor and donated materials to prove that a high-quality, dignified home can be affordable and sustainable.

We invite donors, city officials, and community members to tour our sample unit. Come see how $10,000 can change a life.
